Coaching - Frequently Asked Questions
How do I know if coaching is going to help me?
Coaching offers you an opportunity to allow some focussed time for that dream you keep putting on the backburner because life gets in the way. Coaching provides a dedicated space just for you, to share your deepest dreams without fear of judgement, work through your obstacles and blockages to your highest potential, and to have someone alongside you while you figure out the steps to get to where you want to be. Change can feel overwhelming and scary when we don't know where to start. People of all ages and walks of life can find coaching beneficial, feeling positive about finding their first steps on what may feel like a huge shift. Whatever challenge you want to overcome, coaching can help you find some structure, figure out your first steps, and feel supported in your journey.
What if I feel like something needs to change, but I'm not sure what it is?
If you need to some space to figure out where you want to start, that's completely okay. It is my job as a coach to use my therapeutic tools to help you get there, and there is no pressure or expectation to go too big too soon. I will take your lead in the session, I will not push or judge and we will go where you wish to go at a pace you feel comfortable with.
What if I am not really into holistic healing, and just want coaching?
Everyone is different and has their own preferences - if holistic techniques are not your thing, don't worry - we can still work together! My coaching practice is rooted in person-centred therapy, which puts you at the heart of your process, and I am dedicated to providing a space that works for you. Holistic techniques are a tool but are by no means mandatory, and coaching can be just as effective as a pure talking modality.
How long does coaching last for?
Each of our therapy sessions will typically run for 50 minutes, and we meet every week unless you specify otherwise. There is no obligation to commit to a fixed amount of sessions upfront, and there is no limit to how many sessions you can come for. We can discuss your goals for your coaching in your initial session, and at the end of every session we will agree a manageable goal step to be achieved by the following week. Your goals may change or alter as you go along, so you are welcome to remain in coaching as long as there is something you wish to work towards.
How can I book a coaching session?
You can book an introductory session online here or contact me to find out more, ask me a question or book a session offline.
How much does a coaching session cost?

What is the introductory session for?
This session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other, discuss your reasons for seeking coaching and what your goals and expectations are for your program. I can answer any questions you may have about how coaching works and what to expect from the process. It is also a good opportunity for us to establish whether we would be a good fit to work together.
Will my sessions be confidential?
In order for you to feel safe and assured in your coaching program, our sessions are treated with the utmost confidence, which means everything we speak about in the sessions is kept strictly between us and not shared with anyone else. All information is held securely and compliant to GDPR guidelines and I am ICO registered. There are specific ethical exemptions to confidentiality, but these are uncommon and will be discussed in your introductory session.
Am I able to switch my coaching format if I need to (between in-person and online)?
